The location is very close to the Santa Maria Novella train station so getting here was an easy Five-10 minute walk. We were met by a helpful young man (Nicolli?) and he showed us the apartment, how to get in and where everything was.The apartment was roomy and spotless. The main bathroom was big and modern with a washing machine. The extra 1 2 bath was small but modern and clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The only thing we couldn't figure out was the dishwasher but with a 3 day stay, we never ran out of dishes or glasses. Also, there is no elevator so be ready to climb to the second story by stairs.Location is great for walking to all the major attractions in Florence.
Tony was very accommodating despite our flight and train delays waiting for us to arrive, recommending a restaurant and booking it for us. Leaving food food for morning meal and a bottle of wine was appreciated. We would return if in Florence
Flat was really nice, good central location
We were there only for a day and with a trip to Pisa as part of the same, so we wanted something close to the train station and we could not have asked for more.Close to the train station, a comfortable house with all facilities, a gracious host ( with a bottle of wine ), we had a nice short stay.
The bedroom at the rear was free from traffic noise despite a busy street at the front of the apartment. The shower within the bathroom is good.
The apartment owners were waiting for us before we reached even they gave the red wine as welcome present, it was so surprise . Perfect Kitchen, we love it . There have a wash machine and downstair had a wash n dry can dry the clothes, very convenient . near by train station .
Location. Staff response.
Instructions for the appliances were not available and would be helpful.
Wifi went out on the first night and couldn't be repaired. The washing machine leaked and made awful noises and the dishwasher didn't work either! Which was a shame because we did enjoy our stay.
We could not use the washing machine because it was very noisy on the spin cycles caused, I think, by the drum knocking against the washing machine casing. We adjusted the feet on each corner but it made no difference. Some information within the apartment about how to use the induction hob and how to dispose of refuse within the nearby municipal dropping off points would have been very helpful.
noisy at night . The bedroom can be brighter was perfect .
Airconditioning was hardly providing cool air. Although owner did get it fixed but still it was just fan air.
